About
Kaitlyn McNab is the Entertainment News Editor at Teen Vogue and a multimedia storyteller based in New York.
Like the Sagittarius sun she is, Kaitlyn has a high-spirited stream of consciousness and a knack for cultural spelunking — which makes her pen just as curious and diverse. Kaitlyn thrives in the realms of books, beauty, and pop culture and has written on these beats for brands and publications like GQ, Allure, i-D, Youth To The People, Bustle, and EBONY.
She learned the alchemy of interdisciplinary thinking at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, from which she holds a self-designed B.A. titled How to Tell Stories While Black and a minor in Africana Studies. Kaitlyn’s overall creative mission is to passionately celebrate the Black experience across all narrative mediums.
Kaitlyn's poetry and prose have appeared in Pidgeonholes and Electric Literature. Currently, she is working on her debut novel, a YA fantasy set in NYC, and revising her first original screenplay, a coming-of-age rom-com set in LA.
